The primary reason P.B.U.L United has been created is to raise funds and awareness for educational centers we are planning on building across the country. The schools will be built on completely sustainable, off-the grid, bio dynamic farms. The schools students will be non-violent foster children from nearby urban areas that have been adopted and live in family units with parents in off-the grid homes within walking distance of the school and farm. We propose the opening of 300+ acre living, teaching, permaculture farms all over the United States and then across the world for non-violent orphaned children.
The farms would be staffed by a diverse group; including a group of parents to care for families of children and a farm staff fully capable of running their part of the farm and teaching through doing. Teachers and a licensed clinical therapist to fully communicate with social services in the communities we serve. The children would live in 3-5 children families with two parents. The parents would sign on for 18 year terms and longer if they so wish. The most suitable parents would have children of their own and have been together in a healthy relationship for 10 years or more. The families will live in custom homes completely off the grid. The homes will have all the modern amenities necessary for life as we know it without television. Lights, heat, stoves, sinks, hot water, and toilets.
The children will attend school taught by general education teachers with music and art teachers. The school day will follow general federal guidelines with one to two periods a day spent on the farm learning pertinent permaculture skills, management intensive grazing of pigs poultry cows, plant growth and propagation, composting, animal breeding, bio-fuel production, photovoltaic installation and maintenance, solar hot water heaters, plumbing, electrical, hydro-electric power creation, wind power, metal fabrication, diesel engine repair and maintenance , also homesteading skills, canning, cooking, c The kids will also have allotted chores and depending upon their age they may be able to hold after school jobs on the farm in a field that interests them or they can switch it up and decide what they enjoy or just make some money. The farms would have agriculture stands for the local community and also for kids to gain hands on practical business knowledge. The kids will also have scholarships established for them so that they either attend college or vocational school, the choice is theirs, however they will be encouraged to pursue something they enjoy doing and show an aptitude for. The larger organization of P.B.U.L UNITED may also be willing to employ some after college or vocational training.
The farms would also not only be open to, but will actively seek classes, foster homes and orphanages to come on tours along with booked adult tours. The farms primary source of operating capital is proprietary information. We must began to teach the ideas of sustainability and what better way to do it then getting kids with little hope out of an urban environment, giving them an above average education and making sure the assets are available for them to attend a school of higher learning. I cannot stress enough that this is their home and family, no child will be work beyond their want and they are completely free to file complaints and have all their grievances heard and addressed. The farms are fully functional without the children and only act as an educational tool for the children to learn from, get their hands dirty, and figure out what interests them while giving them practical knowledge, superior education and the funding for secondary schooling of their choice.
